It's not that simple. Where does one draw the line regarding the "costs and responsiblities" of this country? I pay more tax than most people, yet I use fewer government resources than most. You'll have a hard time convincing me that I need to pay even more for some nebulous societal benefit.

First off, Am 16 allows The Feds to tax as much as they want. So on the legality of taxation you don't have much of a leg to stand on.

WRT social fabrik impacts, assuming your comments put you in the income bracket I suspect you are in, your marginal expenditures are dramatically less efficient than those of society at large as well. Essentially you are harming the economy more than helping and ICC and Am 16 give American society a right to protect itself from such harm

Thirdly I doubt you use less govmt resources. You may actively use less resources, in your perception, but there is no question that you have more to be burglarized than a welfare mom if Law Enforcment Services are cut back. Ibid military, ibid protection of oil tanker sea lanes, etc. etc. etc.

So its not at all clear that you use "less government resources" than most. The whole system is designed to yield to you disproportionate benefits.
