So looking at the list of "Bidenisms" the second one listed is this:
"I hope to God you understand this race is winnable."
Yes, gosh! What a ...."gaffe"?
Sorry this doesn't even come close to "Bushisms", I mean Bush said absurd, ungrammatical, unintentionally hilarious things every day and the only ones that ever became "Bushisms" were the truly funny ones that stood out for some specific reason, often because of the context.
For example your rather ridiculous claim that Biden using "They're doing a heck of a job" is "echoing" Bush's famous use of the "you're doing a heckava job, Brownie!" is absurd. Bush's phrase was only notable because of the context during the Katrina mess when everyone was waiting to see what he'd say about the obviously incompetent job that Brown had been doing.
It wasn't, in other words, simply because "heck of a job" is an intrinsically funny, awkward, or inappropriate phrase.
All I can think is that this is the usual "must..find..faults...on..both.."sides"..equal....in...all..ways" disease of false equivalence so common these days. I realize that the Beltway mentality dictates this sort of thing, that there's one way you're supposed to think about everything, e.g. "Howard Dean? Oh he's crazy, because he screamed." And "What does Biden do? That's right, Biden makes gaffes."
Meh. Don't get me wrong, the Democrats have lots of faults, but make fun of the real ones, stop trying to make things overly "balanced" by parroting ones that don't exist.
