Two points and I will shut up…

…for now. (Sorry to all those hopefuls.)
First point, the proposed HC bills by both the House and Senate are fraudulent in their conception insofar as they and their sponsors purport that they will even come close to being paid for. They lie when they say they will generate (transfer) $500 billion or so from Medicare to cover the costs they will generate. They were scheduled to reduce costs on provider (physician) reimbursements for several years now and they could not must the stones to get it done. Do you suppose they will be able to get their collective testicles out of escrow long enough to do that? Do you know how to spell HA!
I think the message is getting out that this bill’s cost isn’t going to be paid for except by more debt or astronomical taxes and the quality of what we get will likely be mediocre at best.
Second, the rank and file Dems are watching their party and their chances for continuing in power crumble and turn to dust under the “leadership” in the House and Senate and the lack of any meaningful leadership from the White House. Pelosi might get reelected because she so ensconced in that peculiar political body in SF, but she is despised by the vast majority and is taking her party down like the Titanic. Harry “pencil-neck” Reid and his soprano timbre are looking like a lame duck and cannot control either side of his party.
