We all know Godwin's law, but just in case here's the definition from wikipedia:

As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."
The term Godwin's law can also refer to the tradition that whoever makes such a comparison is said to "lose" the debate.

I'm going to add a corralary, call it Todji's Corallary :

The longer any discussion grows, if the topic is related to economics, the probability of someone quoting Ayn Rand approaches 1. That person can be considered a moron and to have lost the debate.
