• all but eradicated polio
• all but eradicated smallpox
• all but eradicated bubonic plague in humans
• decreased natal, neonatal and childhood mortality by almost a factor of 10
• increased food production so that there is enough caloric production to feed ever human being on earth adequately
• created the ability for loved ones to communicate despite vast distances of separation

Oh and BTW, science has also created fully totipotent embryos from the skin cells you slough at night.
