Both the information in the seed and the information in the artist's head are things completely beyond the capacity of blind natural laws to produce.

The first is absolutely untrue--we know how this information arose. We see it happening every day as we observe evolutionary activity. The second is pure conjecture by you. The fact is, you don't understand the thoughts in the artist's head--since nobody yet totally does--so you assume that they must be supernatural. But, to take that idea to its logical conclusion, that means that every thought that I think is supernatural. When I made up my shopping list this morning, that was a supernatural event.
