Here's the thing, though. Your comments, your asides are often confrontational and racist and you know it, in spite of denial.

On the other hand, you tell a story, American history, well as James Lee Burke, who's sold millions of copies of his civil war epics. I doubt either of you majored in English or English literature at any point in your educations, but you're as good a storyteller as he (for what that's worth), and I like your first-person accounts.

Try this: Top post passages, chapters from your developing book, couch your racism in those passages and that time where you more properly fit, nestle overt slurs.

I'm uprating your post not because you proved any point, but because I like JackDallas the writer as opposed to JackDallas the asshole. And again, find an editor.

If your slowly developing book ever gets published and sells millions of copies, I want a piece of the action. 15% Seems only fair for my valuable encouragement and input :>)
