kacrowde, you stated your feelings very well and I enjoyed reading your post. It was a very honest and insightful post. I agree people are bringing up some good points on this thread (although I really don't agree with their "throw the baby out with the bathwater" view on religion). People aren't going to give up their faith though because they realize evolution is true or anything like that, because that really isn't what God or Christianity is about. Christianity isn't about not believing or believing in evolution, it's about believing in Christ. And yes, it's definitely hard work but also definitely worth it.
