I told her how pleased I, as a clergy, was that she couched her Finacne Committee vote in moral terms, that health reform was a matter of 'urgency' and that when 'history calls, history calls,' and that I was disappointed to hear that unless she got her way on all the particulars, she would support a filibuster. I asked her if she believed that the issue was no longer urgent and that history stopped calling, because the final product was not to her liking. I then expressed my view that that stand would make her look foolish, petty and petulant.

I'm not expecting a reply since I'm not her constituent, but I am hoping that message generates an 'ouch!'
