Aside from the fact that Muslims comprise about a quarter of the planet's population, you might have noticed that Muslim nations collectively own more than half of the world's proven oil reserves. . .a strategic resource that we are even more desperately dependent on than we need to be, thanks in large part to the myopic energy policies of the Bush Administration and its friends in the Republican Party.

The oil is also, incidentally, the reason why simply not borrowing money from China and then sending it to the Middle East is likewise off the menu.

So, if you'll meet me back here at Square One. . .what non-imaginary posture do you believe America should adopt towards the Muslim part of the world?
