Farhad… WAIT!! Winmobile 7 and Windows 7
by Demosthenes2

Please wait a moment on the mobile platforms Farhad. As a developer who cooks ROM images for mobile devices and customizes them, even Winmobile 6.5 (recently released) has far greater customization abilities than either the i-phones OS or the Android OS. Winmobile 7 is coming soon and even if that was not the case I’d argue Winmobile 6.5 provides more flexibility.

If you look at the primary devices on the cutting edge of these things (the HTC Touch Pro 2 and the Motorola Android ) you’ll find a far more responsive touch flo interface and intuitive user experience. More importantly you’ll fins better compatibility within and with other applications.

If you really want a customized and personal experience sites like XDA developers and PPC Geeks offer ready made cab files and ROM images and applications and registry tweaks to do literally anything you want to on these mobile devices.

That’s simply not the case on the i-phone or Motorola Android device (and the Linux community just hasn’t stepped up for customization yet for Android).

The HTC touch pro 2 sold out on Verizon in two weeks for a reason—and if you really want all you want as you want it, get your hands on one from HTC with the Verizon ROM and then go to XDA developers and install the cab files you want to get caller ID through blue tooth, have free GPS turn by turn directions, optimize battery performance and A2DP Bluetooth stereo streaming, HTC tweaks for customized navigation, speed up touch flo response and a million other things you simply can’t change on the other platforms.

It's all about the custom user experience and ease of use.
