The reason why the WNBA will never be a big deal is simple. I could take an average to above average high school boys team and clean the clock of any WNBA team. That is a fact. So why would I invest serious time and committment to watching what, in the end, is mediocre basketball.

Sorry, but the truth is there is nothing that happens in a WNBA game that you could see at a local YMCA at lunch. NBA players routinely pull off things we mere mortals can only dream of doing athletically.
