He suffers from far more fatal flaws --

1). The (R) after his name. NJ has been especially cruel to Republicans of late, tantalizing them with early polling leads only to lead to big defeats. At one point, Kean led Menendez by almost 2% in the last Senatorial race. Menendez won by 9.

2). The premise of his campaign. "I'm not Jon Corzine, I'll keep my promises." The steady bad news of his shady dealings with his former underling (now under FBI investigation), his traffic accident going the wrong way on a one-way street and blaming the victim(!), and other shenanigans have taken the shine off his image.

3). George Bush. The latest Corzine coup is unearthing a You Tube clip of Christie bragging/confessing his connection to W as his path to power. In NJ, this is akin to wearing a sign saying, "I'm a child molester."
