With meditation the point is to still the mind and not think about anything. Meditation helps me to let go of everything and have peace. Meditation is a time I devote to myself. For 30 to 45 minutes I'm selfish.
Yes, you could say meditation is a form of spirituality. I believe we all have a spirit but many people call it different things such the higher self or an over-soul. I also believe we can get in touch with our higher self and when we do it will guide us. Here is an experiment you can do to get in touch with your higher self. Take a time where you are alone and cannot be disturbed. Sit quietly and take several deep breathes then focus your attention on your solar plexus, next, ask a question, any question and see if you get an answer. If you do not get anything that is fine but make a habit of doing this everyday until you get something. When you start getting answers you will think you are making it up but believe me, it will not take long before you realize you're being guided by an inner wisdom. This is one of the things I do to experience spirituality.
One of my favorite spiritual books is Love Without End by Glenda Green. Spiritual books by Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer.
According to the theory of quantum physics anything is possible. When you get down to it we are made of light particles which are influenced by consciousness. We live in a sea of possibilities.
I have no idea how small we can take it down to but unless or until we have the proper instrumentation to verify the theories that we now suspect then it's anyone's best guess.
Yes, I believe things at the quantum level are random. In others words you cannot determine how a photon will act with any certainty, there are only probabilities. There is still much to be found out about the quantum level but I cannot predict what that might be.
