Here's a fact for you, I don't see what Fox News, or the voting patterns of the 18/29 year olds, or the voting patterns of the greatest generation have to do with the fact that the majority of boomers are a useless pack of whiners who have always wanted things given to them on a silver platter. Defend them if you want....they're pond scum as far as I'm concerned.

I am really sick and tired of you people who have no idea what you are talking about. You have chosen the wrong generation in regards to useless pack of whiners who always want things given to them on a silver platter. I don't know too many baby boomers who didn't work hard for everything that they have. Most of us had too much pride to ask the government for anything over and above the normal services that are provided to every citizen, even when we fell on bad times. We didn't cry to the government, expecting a handout if things got bad. We pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps and did whatever it took to take care of ourselves. Our generation was willing to suck it up and do whatever kind of job was necessary to make ends meet until they could get back on their feet. Most didn't make the kind of money to invest for their retirement and the ones that did ended up losing just about everything and no longer have the resources to continue to invest.

So please tell me all those things that we baby boomers want handed to us on a silver platter since I always hear that and it seems like the only thing that anyone can claim is that feel that we are entitled to the Social Security and Medicare that was promised to us when the government took the money from our paychecks every week. Just remember you will be expecting the government to honor their promise to you when you retire. I don't hear to many of you complaining about all the people who have done nothing, have never paid taxes and aren't willing to go out and support themselves and/or their families and feel entitled to our tax dollars to pay for their rent, utilities, food, clothing and health care. That does not include people who at least make the effort to go out and provide for themselves and/or their families or people who for some legitimate reason cannot provide for themselves and fall short through no fault of their own. How are baby boomers pond scum but those are just unfortunate people?
