Yellow is a term used for Orientals. White is a term used for European Americans. Neither term is particularly accurate. I'm putting my hand next to a lab-certified spectrally neutral piece of white plastic, and I can't say that my skin is closer to white than to pink. While you may share company with delicate porcelain skinned Orientals, expanding your circles to include the jaundiced skin colors of the others will enlighten you to the original of Yellow.
