I love your book talk. You're starting a nice collection and over time I bet you score some great books to add to your first editions. My husband limits the buying of a First Edition on the market to the books that he truly loves.

He has an original run of Ulysses. His most prized possession, I think. (When we read it aloud we use other copies of course.) And Gravity's Rainbow. And Infinite Jest. Those are just the ones I remember, but he has a few others.

Your grocery shopping story reminded me of my daughter! Good stuff!
