On behalf of men everywhere let me ask the eternal question, what the hell do women WANT? Your gender has fought like hell to enter higher education and the work force because you couldn't stand being saddled at home raising the kids all day.

Now there are households where the woman is the primary bread winner and the man stays home and cares for the house and kids, and apparently that is a problem ?

And of course where both work good jobs woman kind bemoans the fact that the man doesn't do enough at home. And in the same breath complains about how the things he does do at home are not done "correctly." And when they do get it right, I've read numerous posts on Slate of women writing about being jealous of their husbands doing such a good job!

As I think about it, this poor attitude wasn't confined to husbands. I worked in an office full of women who had house cleaning services and their fav. past time was sitting around complaining about their house keeper.

This is why men just give up when it comes to pleasing women.
