1) 70, much to my amazement. I was determined to remain 21 indefinitely.
2) Brooklyn, N.Y., US of A.
3) North suburban Chicago.
4) Not so much as once was the case. It used to be that Jack's non-admirers would fulminate at my nic without reading what I posted.
5) English, bad French, G.I. Deutch, and pidgin Spanish. When traveling to my first active duty post near Nuremberg, with no German language ability, I found myself in the bahnhof in Frankfurt unable to figure out how to find my train. Noone would admit to speaking English (probably because I was in uniform.) I ran into a Czech refugee, just two weeks in Germany, who spoke terrible French as did I. We communicated perfectly. He got me to my train and rode with me on his way to Munich.
I'm pretty good with people and a quick study with eclectic interests. I'm not good at acquiring skills that require diligent practice like golf, guitar, and languages, but pursue them anyway with mixed results. I used to be a pretty good tennis player until the passage of time attacked my back.
6) Law; civil litigation. Now semi-retired.
7) Guitar, from time to time; song writing; golf; reading; travel; grandchildren. With more time, I'd enjoy some serious study of anthropology.
Thanks for asking.
