I'm not saying it's elegant or that the app shouldn't be designed better. (And in fact, I have no intention of using Wave any time in the near future.) I'm just saying that, as far as complaints go, the workaround for that one is kind of blatantly obvious. With plenty of web forms, where the text entry box is too small to actually see what you're writing, I frequently compose in a large text-edit window and then copy-paste into place. It's not some hugely complicated effort.
