It doesn't matter how many offices they tried to enter. It just doesn't matter. The acts they were describing should have been thrown out of ANY office at ACORN. Beneath your statement lies the implication that they must have visited dozens of offices to find just a few bad apples -- do you have evidence that this is true?

Giles and O'Keefe will undoubtedly cite the First Amendment freedom of the press and be largely protected by that from any laws they may have broken. Reporters are, fairly frequently, allowed to do things that other citizens can't do in the name of investigation.

And Degs, the advice that ACORN gave on film was clearly advice on how to break the law. That is illegal, even for tax preparers. ACORN's efforts on film violate a number of laws, up to and including the RICO act. ACORN will settle out of court and O'Keefe and Giles will make no apologies. ACORN doesn't want itself associated with this case, in public, any more than it already has been. That's my opinion based on my professional review of the matter.
