Either you don't know what a "straw man" argument is, or you're intentionally mischaracterizing my point as on in order to avoid responding to it.

A "straw man" argument is one made against a point of view that wasn't expressed. Despite your protestations to the contrary, you did indeed say the things I've attributed to you, and they do indeed contradict one another. And you do indeed refuse to reconcile that contradiction.

One of us is certainly refusing to read and respond to the other's arguments using "straw man" reasoning, but it isn't me.
