Don't know what you're missing
by timezoned

After living for years in France, whenever I return to the US yogurt is one the first things I find myself missing. Even the "French" Yoplait in the Safeway seems totally different from what I get in France, and anything else I tried was simply awful.

This includes, by the way, that Australian yogurt at the top of your list, I tried some and found it as repulsive as all of the rest of what passes for yogurt stateside.

I could basically get by with the Americanized version of Yoplait there, except that I had to go with the full-fat version to discern any taste at all, while here in France the 0% style is wonderfully tasteful, and something like 50 calories for each one.

On the other hand, I have to bring back jars of pickle relish whenever I visit, because I simply can't find the same thing here in France.
