Brooks does not get it - the base of the Rethug party consists of racists, fascists, gay bashers, abortion nuts, Jesus freaks and gun kooks.

That is why that party is doomed.

Not enough hate-filled folks out there to make a majority.

Reality based people want no part of it.

Limbaugh and Beck represent that constiuency better than he does.
