What is truth?
by Daysman

I want to argue that truth is not the same as science. You can not get truth from carbon dating, you can not formulate truth from chemical conversions, and you can't calculate truth from physics and mathematics... truth is something more elusive, truth belongs to the spiritual realm, truth is a still small voice in your ear when all around you have lost their heads, truth is the way the tall pines sway in the mountain breezes, truth is the smile on your three year old when he/she discovers some new world, truth is a law being passed to create a national park in the state of Wyoming, truth is the first time you was tempted to cheat after the the first time you took vows to resist that temptation; and the struggle inside your mind to determine that battle... truth was the light snuffed out by Pontius Pilate only to resurrect as a fire upon the heads of those gathered for Pentecost... and truth is facing up to the real world, even when that world is not a perfect match to the picture of it we have in our convictions.

The truth is, our special forces and third world "death squads" do the exact same thing.

The truth is, our CIA, the KGB, and Hitler's SS did the exact same thing.

The truth is, the communist manifesto was born on Wall street, NYC.

The truth is, central banking was the byproduct of the industrial revolution.

The truth is, the Knights Templar built the first American Express system to the holy land and in doing so, laid the foundation for the world of credit, controlled by secrecy, and continued in secrecy, giving us one world government as their byproduct.

The truth is, the USA has a long a storied record of staging attacks upon it's own people for purposes of stirring up political will.

The truth is, JFK was dying from a painful disease anyway, when he was assassinated.

The truth is, there is no truth in politics.

What is it, that momentum inside our brain that drives us forward? We perceive the world through our frame of reference, we believe the world is what we see it as, and yet, none of us see it as it is. We lock onto "truths" but how can an idea become a rock? Ideas flow like a river through our minds, but we reject most of them and we latch onto some of them, and this builds our character, but does that make any idea "truth"? Because we latch onto it?

You have men of science on this board... who will deny the very rudiments of science in order to go on believing what they have latched onto as "truth". You have men of conviction on this board... who will turn their head from the basest of crimes in order to go on believing what they have latched onto as progressive "truth". You have bankers who will ignore banking in order to go believing in a system of banking that they have entrusted. You have spiritual men and poets on this board... who ill turn their back on the holy spirit in order to go on following any of the wide varieties of orders and denominations contaminated by the intermingling of the jesuits. All of you believe you have the truth, some of you will be amongst those voices crying, "Lord, Lord, we have preached your truth in the streets and worshiped you..." only to finally learn the sad truth that they were only following their own version of Jesus, the ideas in their head that they latched onto as Jesus... it is a sad day that will come in some form or fashion for all of us, because we all do this.

They drove a "rover" dune buggy around on the moon and the contrails of dust from the rear wheels hit the atmosphere of earth - stopping it's inertia - and returned quickly back to the gravity of earth - exactly the same way the dust from the rear wheels of a dune buggy hit the atmosphere ... break and crest and roll back to earth ... from the atmosphere and gravity on earth. Absolute 100% match. Which is damn tough to perform when you don't have any atmosphere and your gravity is six times weaker than earth.

But don't let reality get in the way of your "truth".
