And you have yet to answer that question yourself. I would appreciate it if you would give it a shot.

He said it was WW2, and he's partially right. What he fails to acknowledge is that from a purely economic perspective, WW2 was just one big Keynesian stimulus, deficit spending on the part of government to create jobs and increase demand for manufactured goods. It was an extension of, not a departure from, the New Deal.
