You are right, tough decisions need to be made and the healthcare system is broken, but not nearly beyond repair as people would like us to believe. In any case, any movement away from the free market should be met with cynicism.

But you can’t have an honest debate if people aren’t going to be honest, and I don’t believe we have had an honest debate. When the CBO says that we are going to be spending trillions and the administration says that it’s going to be budget neutral, there are questions that need to be asked, because someone is lying.

In any case, I don’t know everything about healthcare either, but I am listening to both sides, believe me, and one side seems far more credible than the other. I think that it is not only important, but incumbent that we know the truth. All of it.
