He's not hispanic because Portuguese are not hispanic because they do not speak Spanish. Plus, Hispanic refers to Latin American roots, not Iberian Penisula. Same for Latino.

But I guess for a certain type of person, jut having a certain surname means they must be thrown into a certain group, no matter what the facts are. Or aren't.

By the way, I know of Cardozo HS in Bayside and the law school for Yeshiva U. That's it. And since when is the West Village a Latin neighborhood? Or Bayside?
