Oh come now Horace, is your logic that broken? You haven't read your history have you? If we ever needed to attack or defend from China, that would be easily accomplished: read the history of WWII: we went from no military to a full machine in about three years...and see, China (and everyone else) is not going to land a bunch of troops like an old WWII movie, because, we'd nuke the piss out of them, and they know it. Yes, a draft would be good in that all those people drafted in this country can vote, and we would have been out of Iraq a long time ago. You see, if you read your history, that is exactly how we got out of VietNam...which is why Bush will never support a draft, he knows better...
