Um, no one "killed" the F-22

There are 187 of the things, and they will need new parts and so on for decades to come. The F-22 is alive and well. Likewise Carter did not "kill" the B-1, although he came a lot closer to doing so than Obama has done with the F-22, not Obama's fault of course as he just became president 6 months ago.
But still, I love how reporters say that the weapons system was killed and we have almost two hundred of them! Are reporters mentally retarded?
If you want to see a weapons system that was killed, look up the MBT70 or the Sergeant York. These were weapons systems that were killed.
It's quite possible we'll never need the almost 200 F-22s that were made, largely for corporate welfare purposes. (We pay far more welfare to big fat corporations than we'll ever pay to poor people.) But if we ever do, and some Chinese pilot goes down in flames to an F-22, I'm sure he'll get great comfort from the fact that he wasn't really shot down and he isn't really plummeting to earth in a burning J-11 because the F-22 doesn't exist -- it was killed by Obama, remember?
