Re: The end of verse.Again?
by NoStar

I don't believe the end of Poetry is near. In five years, contributors and editors of the Omnificent English Dictionary In Limerick Form or OEDILF have written, edited and approved over 55,000 limericks.

The editing of ,limericks or Workshopping as they call it is very educational, I've learned what a comma splice is. (See, that was one right there.) My writing has improved, and not just for limericks.

This is a group of people from around the world that love the English language and love playing with it. Another thread asked "What is poetry?" I don't know, but I do know that the heart of poetry is love of language. The spirit have poetry is love of word play.
