I remember how the famous book by Desmond Morris, The Naked Ape, pointed out that the armpits are scent traps for musk and are designed that way for a reason. He also felt he had to point out how strange our modern Western behavior is, with regard to reproduction. We shave our armpits and put on deodorant, then add scent to it. We cover our female mammaries and then push them up with bras. No doubt he could've added examples.

I have to admit he makes a decent case. Thus, my ambivalence over your content (which was put in a very nicely packaged form).
