I weep that this is what our politics have come to. One can't even raise questions about the judicial qualifications or fitness of an Hispanic jurist without risking insinuations of racism?

The cynicism here is mindblowing. Where was this outrage when the Democrats filibustered Miguel Estrada, with actual evidence suggesting that his race played a role in the opposition?
