in doing so, you missed this. it was funny:
poor, hapless kerouac is probably knocking his skull on the coffin walls just now. he's gotta be thinking, "with devoted fans like this, who needs illiterate vigilanties?"
i think Kerouac fans should like to exhibit intelligence and ingenuity in their defense of JK, thus displaying their ability to perceive intelligence and ingenuity in his work. instead, these collective fans' mediocrity suggests they are inperceptible of JK's mediocrity. your failure to really engage the disagreement likewise reflects, what i think, is kerouac's failure to really engage his experiences. instead, he considered all with an exposed consciousness of himself considering.
so, joe. besides that he was an icon (so is Ronald McDonald) and mentioning the existence of JK's glimmering gems of moments, what is quality about the writing found in OtR? (this has already been asked. i thought i'd give it another try.)
In Frisco great eager crowds of young semi-intellectuals sat at his feet and listened to him....
yeah. on bookclub, too.
well, that's all for me folks.
