Just admit it, Clinton's only qualification is that she is a shrewd politician. Why did Hilary choose a state she had never resided in before she decided to run other than to further her own political ambitions. And she actually did some good for New York State and the US, though her record wasn't stellar by any means. Come on, she went with Bush almost lockstep into the war, not because she thought is was right, but knew it was prudent at the time. That is what you get with a career politician. What Minnesotans get with Franken is a representative rather than the career politician who had the seat before him. Franken has actually been living in Minnesota for quite a while. He knows politics and he is intelligent.

I know we both agree on where Pelosi and Reid stand. They kept the class of 2006 from doing anything of merit and allowed Bush to continue his assault on the Constitution. And they don't seem to be doing any better, even though Pelosi did squeak out a Health Care Bill.

How can a person who constantly bitches about politics as usual and the failures of the mainstream media come out and bitch when a Senator finds his way through a different track? Or how can someone so sensitive to any question of Hilary's credentials question a person's worth before he has actually taken his seat?

So, what? Do you want to go back to the state Legislatures appointing the Senators as it was before, with the Upper House acting like the House of Lords?
