From what I've been reading (and believe me, it hasn't been much), that guy was doomed. He signed up for a concert series that he was in no way, no how mentally or physically capable of carrying out. He would have collapsed. I'm thinking it's about 9 to 1 that he was knocked off or committed "suicide" (if by "suicide" we mean pushed to the brink emotionally and psychologically and then given access to all the heavy drugs he wanted with a private Dr. Feelgood paid for by...drum roll please...the guys who put up the money for his big comeback.)
