It's more important for you to get over me, joey, since you've made me, and not my view of Kerouac, the subject of all your posts. You've been posting in bad faith, friend.
There are writers we can agree on. Fine. But in the future you might consider talking about the writers under review rather than insulting and deriding the poster you disagree with. I talked about a writer who is established and who is highly esteemed these days, and you sought to debunk my remarks with personal attacks. If you wanted elaboration on my poins, you should have set a different tone with your initial response. But you didn't, and here you are, trying to calm yourself down for some measured, considered writing. Good, you're capable of it.
Perhaps we'll talk again on another thread where we can remain on topic and you can have the chance to challenge my opinions instead of coming across like a sub-grade Don Rickles. I have a feeling you can do better than you've done here in literary forums. We shall see.
