Nope, just some who reads, has opinions and expresses them as best I can on a public internet forum. I know something of what I'm talking about, but if you want experts about literature (and so on) , I'd recommend reading Fred Jameson, Terry Eagleton, Marjorie Perloff, as these critics can tie literature into other areas, both art and political. I follow the discourse, and I have a little chump change to spend in giving an opinion on matters I care about.

There are many writers I like, Mailer among them, and I like them because they write great books, the merits of which I'm willing to discuss at length, perhaps in another thread. You seem to have missed the fact that the portion of the top post you object to was written in the past tense, and go on at length talking about me as if I haven't changed over the thirty years since I graduated. You say that you used to be me and yet your little tantrum shows you don't know me at all.You are a bad reader of tea leaves, friend.
