My analysis of this thread's answer to your question of Meletus's commitment, is that it is likely he may not have known himself. Perhaps he was simply compelled to seek answers/distraction/familiar anonymity here on the Fray.

As to Fritz-Meletus, I've no idea as I was not following his posts closely even to the end (my loss). But a subtle distinction in my story is that I was not on the thread in which Fritz made his comment - I found it almost a year after it was posted, actually (closet narcissist searching his name again - sigh). I wasn't around much then and Fritz even mentioned that in the post. Whatever, probably means little in this discussion, but it is proof that all posts here can have an immediate and lasting effect, and in Meletus's case maybe Fritz did offer him this kind of path to enlightenment.
