I'm waiting to hear how fully self-identified members of the conservative machinery making mean (and, in McCain's case, homophobic) jokes at he expense of the looks of a perfectly average tweens-into-teens (at the time) girl show a greater degree of civilization than jokes made by a largely apolitical comedian at the expense of a young woman who engaged in copious amounts of premarital sex and now crusades for abstinence.
