OK, I get you are indignant. Not that it makes it better, but until pretty recently large swaths of society did not even believe all humans were equal.

And I understand you are an animal lover but what would you do if a speeding train was going to run over either a baby or a puppy (depending on which track you sent the train down)? The train is unstoppable, all you can do is choose whether the puppy or the baby lives. Could you honestly live with yourself if you chose the puppy?
