i found this article to be rather shallow and unresearched. i understand that it may be one person's opinion, but i feel that if you are going to open yourself to others opinions, you need to have all the facts.
sure the author chose to pick the media side of the 2012 issues. it makes for interesting reading i guess. but there is much more information out there besides some woman loosing her life savings to a con artist.
not all 2012 predictions revolve around ufos and apocalyptic senarios. in fact, those are the few that seem to be the most far fetched. by the way, apocalypse truly defined means "to reveal" not the doomsday crap people associate it with.
i don't believe the world will end December 22, 2012 either. what i do believe is that if you go back and look at the history of mankind you will see that our evolution is far from over. in fact it is cyclical.
i do not disclude any ancient texted or prophecy as the ravings of an uneducated culture. i believe that our past can teach us much about our future. i urge anyone not to discredit them so easily.
and lastly, i challenge people to to their own research. do not take the word of a column writer or the media as truth. everyone has a motive for their ideas, be they profit driven or not. instead of just waiting for someone to tell you what will be.....TRY FINDING OUT FRO YOURSELF.
