I'm 100% with Messy on this one.

When I was a freshman in college, I was forced to take College Algebra (I'd somehow miraciously tested into it, when on the placement test I just turned it sideways and made a pretty crown with the spread sheet because I'd already spent half an hour on 5 questions and still had no idea what the correct answer was.)

I studied easily 3 to 4 hours a day 5 days a week for a 3 credit course, took weekly private math tutoring from the Academic Skills Center, and hunted down my professor during office hours to beg assistance. I managed a C in the class. My highest score on a test was a B, and my professor wrote it beside a big smiley face, because he knew how hard I'd worked for that B.

So when I say "I could never do that" I really, really mean it.
