What stinks:

Abortion opponents have created a fictional narrative about the manner in which such procedures takes place. The reality is, a woman has a very difficult conversation with a physician, who carefully explains all the difficulties and risks to her. The procedure is never undertaken capriciously, never without cause, and never without review. The fact of the matter is, Tiller's death is such a tragedy because the small number of physicians willing to perform abortions are unwilling to perform those in late term, because of the combination of liability (both criminal and civil), and the very real risks to their safety, and the safety of those around them.

What abortion opponents like to do is create fallacious strawman arguments in which they attempt to prove their point under a false and misleading set of assumptions. These are never the circumstances under which such choices are made, and ignoring that enables them.
