Beaming...
We signed on last year for a once-weekly organic veggie bin, and while it was good it could have been better. I think it was their first year so their selection was not great (kale, squash, kale, greens, squash, squash, greens, kale, squash, carrot!, beet! ad infinitum), but I imagine it was a better experience for vegetarians. We didn't sign up this year. Our local stores have decent enough organics when required and we can always head into West Van for the better markets and Whole Foods.
The juncture bit: I've been a small part of one and witnessed first hand another one, and things might get rougher. Your challenge will be to bring to yourself and others that which keeps me looking in on your posts all these years, even though I know "titty fuck" is not likely to appear in one of your posts for some time (sad whimper). I've not seen a lot of death close-up, but I know some who have seen it and gotten through it well enough to smile every day and simply enjoy being alive. Seems like an insurmountable hill, but you'll bag the fucker.
Also, if things get tres bad then fall back to drugs (the prescribed kind, fuck yeah!). They can perform near miracles if the match is good and help the day-to-day living hell be less of a piercing headache.
I'll be checking in again, promise to keep us up to date or I will hunt you down in Iowa and make you drink beer.
