Eigenvector:"Either you are assuming that gays are somehow unaware of the difficulties involved, or that they have different motives from heterosexuals who actively seek to have children?"
I simply can't believe you reached that conclusion by reading my response - you did read it right? Or did you intersperse(sp?) my comments amongst your collection of homophobic quotations learned from listening to Ann Coulter?
If you believe me to be homophobic then you haven't comprehended what I wrote.
*sigh*. perhaps you're not understanding what * I * wrote. You said you wondered why homosexuals would want to have children, implying that under the circumstances of being gay it's really not that easy to accomplish. Did I get that part right?
My response was to ask you why would you assume gays have different motives than anyone else for having children. That's what the context of your wondering implied and that's how I arrived at that conclusion.
In my entire post I was talking about homophobic opinions in general, not necessarily yours. And yes opinions can be homophobic, even if the people who hold the opinion are not raging gaybashers themselves.
Now if we've cleared that up... I would still appreciate an answer to my question. I deon't ask because I want to argue, I ask because I'm interested in your perspetive.
