How about a few days in the life of, say, the life of a secretary to one of those high-end customers of our heroine, or maybe a firefighter, or schooteacher. Someone who isn't an empty hustler--that might even include bankers (occasionally).

Or, here's a novel idea--show the protitute or her clients doing something that isn't slickly soul-less, like oh I don't know, talking with someone on the subway or having a fight with their wife, ANYTHING to remind you that these are human beings, not simply figures in a pre-determined landscape. But that would bring this film out of the burnished cocoon of Heartless Money, and waht's the fun of that?
