Why not--people who move here to live expect us to know their language or provide someone who can translate. There are a lot of people who move here who refuse to learn the language. I work in a dr's office and you have no idea how frustrating it is when a patient calls who can barely speak English and wants help. Can you imagine them having a medical emergency and having to wait for a translator?

When immigrants first came over, they had to learn English and had to find a way to make a living. Now, they don't have to and all they have to do is stretch out their hands and we give them money, food stamps and medical care while our own homeless people have to live out on the streets! Tsk, we're so terrible to foreigners.
