Thanks for the offering MaryAnn,

I like it. I like how it moves from the closed human introspective "climate of fear, over today's horizon" outward to May in perfect working order, happening without, almost in spite of us. I see the crown of a green hill with a dark brow formed by a cow licking her newborn calf. This time of year where I live the cattle are higher up scattered across the hillsides munching on the new grass.
