I don't think that's really SlimVirgin on Meetup.com. The user on the forum has nothing written in their profile and has not posted in months. The topic itself never had any responses and was viewed by almost no one prior to you posting the link. I can't get to a list of the account's postings, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was its only post. It's more likely that someone is trying to discredit SlimVirgin.
Looking at SlimVirgin's edit history, it's clear she is not changing articles to fit her own views on animal rights. The substantial edits are all neutral point of view and have more to do with improving the quality of the articles than conforming to an opinion. Many of the other edits are maintenance: changing or adding category names, improving the info boxes that are on some Wikipedia pages, etc. My only complaint is that she saves tiny edits too much instead of making a larger edit, artificially inflating her edit count.
Nothing sinister, no abuse, just her contributing on a subject she is interested in while sticking to a neutral point of view.
